Challenge
Create a stadium-specific beer that would not only connect with their fanbase at home, but Canadians across the country.
Solution
Presenting Blue Wave: a rally cry in a can. Inspired by ‘the wave,’ a tradition abandoned by the rest of baseball but beloved by Blue Jays fans, we used colours inspired by the Blue Jays retro ‘new blue’ uniforms, created embossed baseball stitches resembling ‘the wave’ as the focal point of the design, and built a bespoke word mark that made waves.
